Bakkavor Meals, based in Wigan, specialises in making chilled ready meals, food to go salads and vegetable accompaniments and employs over 1,000 people. It is part of the Bakkavor Meals sector which has eight factories in the UK.

JOB DETAIL
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Site Services Engineering Manager to provide an effective Site Services and utilities engineering service.
This includes the buildings, plant and associated equipment to ensure efficiency, availability and reliability is maximised.
Further responsibilities include:

Ensuring the site meets all current statutory H&S obligations.
To work towards WCMS for the department.
To lead, coach and support the site services and utilities team to ensure that all resources are managed and utilised effectively to reduce our costs on effluent, water, electricity and gas.
Management of Site Services KPI's, utilities and service contracts.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Experience of working in a management position in a food manufacturing environment
Awareness and understanding of statutory requirements and legislation
Time served and multi skilled (either bias with preference for electrical)
Flexible approach with business awareness
Experience of running computer management maintenance system and service contracts
Working knowledge and experience of site services – electricity, steam, compressed air, refrigeration, water and effluent
