Senior Practice Development Nurse
Salary: 38,890 – 44,503 per annum/pro rata

We are recruiting for a Senior Practice Development Nurse who shares our

As a Senior Practice Development Nurse within the Corporate Nurse Education
team, it is essential that you have effective communication, teaching and
assessing skills and are able to motivate teams through strong leadership,
acting as an effective role model for best practice.
You should be an RN with a proven clinical background and be able to
demonstrate a strong commitment and passion for teaching and practice
education. You should possess the ability to work within a team but also to
work autonomously in forward thinking and innovative ways to allow staff to
progress in supportive learning environments.
You will be expected to support the professional development of all grades of
nursing staff through teaching, clinical skills training and development of
competence enabling them to deliver excellent standards of patient care. You
will lead on the Care Certificate programme in the Trust and will lead,
facilitate and contribute towards supporting the learning and development of
the nursing and midwifery Band 2-4 workforce.
