Product Lead

Protec Fire and Security Group have the opportunity for a Product Lead, based at our Head Office in Nelson, Lancashire (BB9 6RT). The Product Lead will work within the Product Strategy team to help identify and deliver intelligently specified, brilliantly designed solutions with excellent support materials.
Contributing to the company’s product strategy process for multiple concurrent developments, the successful candidate will expertly communicate work through the means of product proposals, feasibility studies, business cases and requirements specifications.
From the initial product conception, the lead must appreciate all aspects of a design, and guide the vision through to a finished solution, whilst adhering to the needs of the business. Remaining inquisitive, investigative, and detail-oriented, without losing sight of the big picture.
The role is key to stimulating and coordinating discussion between multiple stakeholders ensuring that all are fully aware of a potential development’s costs, benefits, and requirements, and are given time to express their ideas before product development begins.
The successful candidate will preferably hold a Product Design qualification, with knowledge of the electrical/electronic engineering sector and have proven experience of full product lifecycle, from cradle to grave. Experience in a similar role would be advantageous, including familiarity with Agile Scrum or Waterfall methodologies, product development, or business analytics.
This position might suit applicants with Product Owner, Business Analyst or Product Design experience.
This is a full time, permanent position, working 40 hours per week. Salary is dependent on previous experience.
