Identify and recruit Microsoft Teams Rooms partners (25%)
Use available market insights and data to identify and target new resellers through new partner acquisition to grow Microsoft Teams Rooms business (Meeting Rooms (Teams Rooms and Collaboration Bar), Teams Certified Devices (Headsets, Desk phones, Teams Displays), Joint Sales positioning (Teams Rooms & Surface Hub)
Conduct outbound calls daily to a variety of resellers, prospects & current partners to recruit, evaluate current partner capabilities, share available product portfolio and sales trainings and resources, identify high potential partners.
Negotiate, review and analyse all new reseller contracts from inception to final completion (Distribution contracts & Microsoft Reseller contracts) with objective to maximize profitability and ensure contract compliance as required.Enable sales and technical capabilities with Microsoft Teams Rooms partners (35%)
Be the subject matter expert for M365/Teams/MTR/Surface Devices/Microsoft Teams Room Standard & Premium including: manufacturer portfolio, partner programs (1st party, 3rd party), Microsoft's Teams GTM strategy, Programs and Investments
Enable select resellers to design, develop and deliver device and service offers to drive the value of Microsoft solutions in the market.
Deliver effective sales & technical workshops, bootcamps, trainings necessary to build the skills and expertise of partners.
Participate, develop and/or supports Distributor and Microsoft market activities, trade shows & events as assigned.
Develop demo capabilities with Microsoft Teams Rooms partners, support partners in delivering sales/technical/demo presentations to customers if required.Accelerate sales capacity and capability with device channel partners (20%)
Represents Microsoft Teams Rooms devices to the channel, communicates our strategy, sells our vision and brings partners along.
Continuously develop and expand sales (technical & channel), industry and product knowledge.
Deliver deep insights back to the business – understand the collaboration sales and competitive landscape, build insights and lead discussion on challenges and solutions.
Develop Teams Rooms Device and services-based growth plans that align to partner (reseller) business objectives and initiatives.
Build, maintain and expand high quality relationships with technical and business executives based on joint strategic objectives.
Execute joint plans to ensure they meet or exceed planned ROI and develop deep insights on what's needed to accelerate growth.You will be a vital connection point for a variety of sales resources, by (20%)
Maintaining regular engagement with all relevant stakeholders in both Microsoft and Distribution Partner – Distribution Sales Team, Microsoft DPS, OCP and GSMO Sales Teams, 3rd Party Hardware partners in assigned market to discuss latest trends, campaigns, offers, discuss required support and conduct feedback.
Supporting partners with Teams and Teams Rooms devices technical subject matter expertise as needed – engage technical resources as required.Role Specific Competencies;
3-5 years of related partner sales or technical experience required, with preference to voice, communication, collaboration & AV and demonstrated ability to scale through partner sales in a partner led or partner co-sell motion
Advanced problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities
Excellent communication skills in management conversations, presentations, and email
Demonstrate continuous learning, intellectual curiosity, and improvement in professional impact on a daily basis.
Fluent in English language.
Experience working with members of the Microsoft sales field, SIs, and OEM & channel sales partners.Required Technical Sales Leadership
Technical breadth. Experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, Office 365 and Enterprise Mobility + Security applications & services, Windows 10, and Teams Rooms Devices; and competitive product knowledge.
Teams Rooms Devices & Voice. Experience and ability to explain key solutions and architectures, including Microsoft Teams Rooms Device solutions, applications, and Application Integration Services.
Networking. Understanding of TCP/IP networks, switches, routers, firewalls and protocols.Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
