We are looking for a mental health support workerto join our organisation working 35 hours per week, who are care qualified to a NVQ level; or equivalent and share our values.
The Lonsdale scheme provides a home for men and women aged over 18 who are preparing to move onto greater independence, but who need help because of the effects of mental ill health. Lonsdale House provides life skills training together with emotional and social support with personal care if required. Importantly, we are looking for a mental health support worker who iscommitted to helping those living at Lonsdale House to build their confidence in order to make personal decisions, make friends, enjoy education, training and leisure.
