Maintenance Team Leader – Oxford

Permanent, up to £26,476 – £29,418 p.a. (depending on experience)

Hours – 37 per week                                                                                                                                                    

We provide accommodation in several counties for people with varying levels of need.  Our rapid growth has created a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Team Leader in our Housing & Property Directorate.

If you are organised, have specialised knowledge of maintenance, repairs and Health & Safety works we would like to hear from you.

You will work with our Property Services Team to lead of maintenance operatives and conduct maintenance / repairs works within our properties 

Your duties will vary day to day, and will have a mixture of planned and reactive work.  Some core duties include:

To line manage and supervise a team of maintenance operatives.

To inspect a percentage of completed work by the maintenance team and to survey new properties where necessary.

To undertake on a day to day basis multi trade repairs and maintenance on behalf of Response at occupied and unoccupied homes.

Promoting and monitoring a safe working environment for staff and residents. Following Health & safety regulations eg; COSHH, Fire, Manual Handling

Schedule training and development as part of wider service and related to trades

Carry out effective repairs, maintenance and replacements to include but not limited to, grounds works, waste clearance, wall tiling, roofing repairs, minor repairs and all general building work

To work with and motivate the team to continuously improve the repairs service

To understand and report any concerns assisting in our Safeguarding Policy
