Licensing Assistant (Full Time)
£22,000 up to £30,000 per annum (pro rata) – This isn't starting a new job. This is starting a new journey.
An exciting opportunity is now available for a confident and enthusiastic individual to join our friendly, vibrant team. Based within our Regional Distribution Centre, you will work closely with our Licensing Manager and local authorities to ensure all our stores in the UK maintain their alcohol licenses.
If you are a talented multi-tasker with a natural flair for administration, this could be the ideal role for you.
What you'll do
•Day-to-day administrative support to the Licensing Manager
•Liaising with local authorities to make applications
•Tracking and chasing applications
•Preparation of applications
•Full ownership of tasks and daily duties
What you'll need
•Self motivated with excellent people skills and highly professional attitude
•A strong multi-tasker with excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise conflicting deadlines
•Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
•Uncompromising attention to detail
•Hands-on with a confident, 'can do' attitude
•Previous administration experience is necessary
•Previous experience of liaising with Local Authorities in a Licensing/ Planning capacity would be advantageous
•Comfortable managing own workload
