We are currently recruiting for a Hard Services Manager to be based in Fort Halstead, Sevenoaks.
Hours of Work:
8am-4.30pm Mon-Thurs
8am-4pm Fri
Job purpose:
To provide leadership, visibility and direction to Service Teams whilst developing and co-ordinating the Client’s M & E portfolio ensuring improved process delivers measurable and sustainable improvement.
Principle Accountabilities:
* Operating as a senior member of the EMCOR site Management Team
* To be accountable for the performance of the delivery of HFM against targets (KPIs, PPMs & SI’s for example)
* To lead and support all site-based engineering / hard service delivery
* Plan, implement and deliver contract operational plans through effective and Client focussed management
* Manage and coordinate all site based hard service delivery teams
* Take responsibility for the delivery and achievement of commercial business targets and KPI’s
* Provide monthly operational reports including KPI performance against agreed targets
* Supervision and line management of mechanical and engineering SMEs including specialist contractors
* Influence and encourage collaboration, knowledge sharing and best practice across site
* Regularly meet with the Client to communicate key contract issues in support of sustaining partnership values and the smooth running of the business
* Ensure that all operations are undertaken with total adherence to legislative and local Health and safety regulations whilst actively demonstrating a positive behavioural safety approach at all points of contact
* Deliver all the required outputs against the agreed KPIs whilst striving to improving performance beyond the baseline target
* Identify cost reduction opportunities resulting from improved / changed maintenance techniques
Person Specification:
* Demonstrable skills and experience implemented in a similar role
* A proven track record of success in supporting a major business contract, ideally within an FM, construction or Civil Engineering environment
* Educated to Degree level or similar in engineering related discipline
* NEBOSH certificate or working towards would be advantageous
* Demonstrable knowledge of differing maintenance techniques, frequencies and industry standards i.e.SFG20
* Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire and develop others
* Effective project planning and project management skills
* Previous management experience in Hard FM/ construction /refurbishment – desirable
* Demonstrable estimating experience of small works to a value of £10k
* General knowledge of construction trades
* The ability to attain and retain security clearance to SC level
Previous AP experience in one or more of the following:
* Electrical / HV
* Mechanical / Pressure Systems
