Graduate Level IT specialist
Conservatory Outlet Group Ltd have identified an exciting new role in our rapidly growing business for a graduate-level recruit, to develop into a window manufacturing systems specialist.
Conservatory Outlet Group Ltd is an industry-leading manufacturer of home improvement products spanning contemporary extensions, conservatories, orangeries, roofs, glass, windows and doors in both uPVC and aluminium. Part of a £40m+ turnover Group that also owns and runs two of the North’s most successful retail installers, we’re proud to have been awarded ‘Manufacturer of the Year’ status at the recent Wakefield Business Awards.
As part of the internal IT function, the role centres on our internal ERP and surrounding processes.
We have identified a considerable number of internal workstreams that need to be undertaken by a dedicated resource. Each of these projects will provide considerable benefit to the organisation and will see the successful candidate:
* Liaising with suppliers;
* Taking requirements;
* Making changes to the ERP;
* Delivering finished initiatives;
* Identifying further routes for improvement.
Projects already identified include:
* Implementation of a Stock system;
* Addition of EDIs with key suppliers;
* Configuration of modern electronic Goods In processes.
Ideally, this role would suit a graduate of a computing-based degree with both a business element, and a database or ERP element to their studies.
Some level of basic programming module or experience would also be an asset but is not essential. Through a mixture of formal training, in-house training, on-the-job experience and self-directed learning, the successful candidate will develop skills in:
Databases and reporting;
This is a role that will deliver considerable improvement to our internal ERP platform. However, it is recognised that several improvements will be uncovered during these projects that will need to be added to these projects and build on these successes.
This is a pivotal role and a real development opportunity for a technical self-starter to cumulatively build on their successes and make a real difference in one of Yorkshire’s 50 fastest growing businesses.
