More about your role
We are looking for a recently qualified Accountant to join our close-knit and hard-working Financial Accounts team. You will ensure the delivery of high quality, timely statutory reporting for the Group and our numerous subsidiaries. This is a high-profile role within the Finance department, with exposure to the Group Finance Director and senior staff across the Group. This role has been created to ensure the Group is able to deliver its ambitious growth strategy and meet the changing needs of the industries in which the Group operates.

More about you
Due to diverse nature of the Group and the large number of companies in the Group you will need considerable experience of accounts prep. You will be involved in the completion of annual statutory accounts for subsequent external audit review, under limited supervision. You will also have considerable contact with our external auditors, supporting the relationship with them and dealing with queries.
In addition to strong technical skills we are looking for you to have an eye for continuous improvement, someone who questions current ways of working and looks for improvements however small – be those procedural, technological or through the use coaching staff to improve their knowledge/methods.
The role is based at our office in Preston however home working in encouraged, where practical, to aid work/life balance.
