We have immediate opportunities to provide support workers to provide vital support to people with a learning disability through this tough time. We're recruiting full time, part time permanent and bank Support Workers across the UK now!

What does a Support Worker do?
As a Support Worker you will be expected to provide an outstanding level of support that will enormously contribute to the people we support, living a more comfortable, dignified, liberated and happy life.
Personal care – helping people to get ready for the day, choosing clothing and assisting with showering.
Supporting people to live independently – budget management, shopping and supporting with healthy food choices and value for money, support with housework, organising household repairs, Nutritional support and plan, prepare and cook healthy meals.
Excellent communication skills/relationship building – supporting the person to understand the world around them and promoting positive relationships. Supporting with Anxiety, and positive behavioural support, and working with other health professionals.
Community & Social Inclusion- Supporting individuals to access and participate in their local community and Social events and maintain personal relationships with family and friends to promote life skills and individuality.
Supporting the person to learn new skills, and try new activities, and build on their knowledge to promote independence.
Supporting the person with medication administration, and supporting the person to stay healthy, and understand the importance of regular Health checks, such as visiting the dentist, GP, Hospital.
Working as part of a team, and to follow agreed processes.
The person supported requires 1:1 support, 7 days a week.
The shift times are as follows;
Shift 1-10am until 5pm
Shift 2-5pm until 10pm then sleep in from 10am until 7am. The sleep in offers enhanced rates of pay
Shift 3- 7am until 10am.
