ENGIE are recruiting for a Facilities Assistant to be based in Leeds (LS12
1BE). This is a 3 month fixed-term contract which involves working part-time
hours. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
Purpose of the Job
To provide a friendly, welcoming and efficient customer service orientated
reception and administrative support to the business and its visitors. The role
involves working 7am to 14.00 Monday to Thursday, including a 1-hour lunch
break, with the potential need for holiday/lunch cover on an ad hoc basis.
Assist with managing the day to day COVID secure operations of th
Responsible for temperature checking and signing in of staff
Deal with office queries relating to meeting rooms, parking, desks or faults
Liaise with cleaners to ensure meetings rooms are cleaned / address any
contract cleaning issues
Ensure all facilities are COVID secure throughout the day
Assist with tidying/clearing of pedestals/lockers and alternative storage
Assist with the logging of any returned mail
Undertake any ad hoc duties / general administration as required within the
department e.g. fire evacuation and other facilities management related tasks.

Excellent administration and organisational skills
Proven ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
Ability to remain calm under pressure and good problem solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including the ability to use Excel to log
Experience of working in a similar role and/or other customer facing role
(internal and external customers) is preferred
Reliable and willing to be flexible regarding hours
Friendly, outgoing and helpful
GCSE Qualifications Including English And Maths
Fire safety or Fire Warden training
First Aid qualification
