At Portland College we provide long term residential care and short breaks for people with physical and learning disabilities. As programmes are based on the College campus, Freedom ‘Citizens’ have the opportunity to socialise and interact with College learners and other ‘Citizens’ throughout day-to-day life with the support of the care workers.
The shift pattern follows 7 on, 3 off, 7 on, 4 off. Shift times are 06.45-14.45 and 14.30-22.30.
We work hard to ensure that Citizens enjoy their time with us and have access to opportunities that will help build social skills, confidence and independence.
Our Care Support Team are caring and compassionate people, who show commitment to these positive values and deliver
safe care with energy and enthusiasm.
