Reporting to the Commercial Controller, this role involves managing a specific manufactured product area. You will be required to understand and maintain the customer's high brand standards and building strong relationships with the Buyer and Head of Food.
The key responsibilities will be to manage, grow and improve the P&L by working closely with the category, development, site and finance teams as well as managing the day-to-day internal and external relationships.
Day to day responsibilities will also include:
Create and execute customer specific account plans by using trends and insight to maximise sales value and profitability through a business plan approach
Identify and develop, in line with customer requirements, new business opportunities within the division and maximise the benefits for both parties through the development, negotiation and delivery of joint business plans
Establish, develop and maintain close working long term relationship with the customer, building market and competitor knowledge to identify and proactively satisfy customer requirements; develop and act on potential new business opportunities
Work proactively with the category, PD and commercial finance team to develop a product offer that improves sales and margin taking into account shopper and financial insight

What we’re looking for
Broad knowledge of the convenience food market, ideally with big four retailer experience
Previous account management experience or a background in buying
People management skills: influencing ability and experience of managing internal and external stakeholders
