Area Coordinator

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To maintain the smooth and efficient running of the area/shift/department and to ensure optimum operational performance.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure any relevant CCP’s/Allergen Controls are adhered to
To assist in the active promotion of a safety culture and ensure all health and safety requirements are met in the area
To take ownership for product quality in the day to day running of the area/department/shift
To ensure all company procedures are followed by all employees and that good hygiene and housekeeping practices are maintained at all times
Ensure that all product handling and manufacturing is done in a hygienic environment in compliance with food legislation
Ensure good communications are maintained within the department/area/shift and with all departments
To assist in the setting KPI’s, monitoring and take accountability to achieve the targets set
To liaise with HR to ensure policies and procedures are adhered to e.g. absence monitoring, recruitment, development, disciplinary/grievance, holiday entitlement/guidelines, agency ordering and control
To support NPD in ensuring products come to fruition
Help facilitate a CI environment
To cover leave of colleagues and manage holiday/absence from all teams
Ensure all paperwork completed in all areas/departments and is accurate, reliable, comprehensive and legibleIn addition, you may be required to carry out any other duties within your capacity which the Company may reasonably require.
