As an Account Executive, your role will be to support the Commercial Controller in the day to day management of the accounts and delivery of sustained profitable growth for our customers. Your day to day responsibilities will include:
Manage all day to day customer requirements to include shopper research, sampling and benchmarking sessions
Identify key insights and actions internally and with the customer
As directed by Commercial Controller, be involved in promotional process and activity
Provide category analysis to support the customer innovation and category process
Be the initial point of commercial contact for a portfolio of existing and new independent wholesale customers
Validation and checking of sets of data to ensure business information is aligned (e.g. – Sales forecast)
Own and deliver a schedule of reporting to capture all business requirements including that required by customers
Conduct physical store audits when required

Here at Leeds we make just over 40% of all UK frozen Yorkshire puddings; making us one of the UK’s largest suppliers of frozen Yorkshire puddings to Asda, Morrisons & Tesco to name a few!
What we’re looking for This is a great role for an ambitious Account Executive that wants to gain experience in working across multiple different accounts, including the top retailers. This individual will have the opportunity to develop their skills in account management while being able to make a considerable difference to the team.
Extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel
Willingness to learn, enthusiastic approach with challenging personality
Strong interpersonal ability, with good work ethic and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Communication and analytical skill
Previous experience in a similar role within the food industry – own label preferred but not essential
